Possible Roommate Changes:  Hello Families, in early November we’ll send each of our students a Google Form to fill out.  At the end of the semester, all students on campus have the ability to change roommates.  So we have done the same for the last few years.  If students don’t want to change they don’t have to, they’ll tell us in this form.  If they do, we ask that they let us know their top 5 choices of roommates, then who they don’t want to roommate with.  Then the staff works hard to make all students happy, unfortunately, sometimes this doesn’t work out but we do our best.  We do tell them that many times it’s not the best decision to room with your best f...

Fall Break information: In a couple of weeks, I’ll have more information on the Fall (Thanksgiving) break and then Winter Break.  For now, I want to let you know that the dorms will close at 6 pm on Friday the 19th of November.  All Students will need to be picked up after their classes to be taken home for the week break, then on Sunday the 28th the dorms will open back up at noon to allow students to come back and get ready for the next week.  The students will get more information on things to do before leaving the week before. Homecoming Weekend is here… October 23rd. Homecoming weekend is here.  The students have had the opportunity to bowl, decorate their dorm room doors...

Selection of classes:   Families, it's that time of the year already.  Your students will be looking at different classes that they could take for the Spring Semester.  We always suggest that you talk to your student at this time to see what they are thinking about and why?  In their Personal-Centered Plan Meetings, their teachers discuss what they are wanting to do in the future and how these classes fit into that plan.  If you have concerns please talk to your student about why they are choosing a particular class.  If you have concerns after this discussion please let their teacher know but remember that we do primarily go off of your student.
