Please help the students understand the importance of using their masks.  We’ve had a number of students not wearing their masks in the dorms.  The mentors have been asked to start giving warnings to students.  We understand that this can be uncomfortable and hard to remember but it’s important to have them worn on campus and where they can’t follow social distancing.  Thank you for you assistance with this. First-Year Students: University Foundations: Debra Southard First day of College was exciting.Monday Students learned how to do Google Hangout, and Plato. Some students were reminded they  had a study hall tonight. Text books were passed out. Some students were reminded they had their first meeting with Mrs. Southard today. Tuesday and Wednesday topics included the difference between academic dishonesty and getting help. Students were asked to send an email to Mrs. Southard listed 5 things they have learned. First-Year Students: University Foundations & Relationships 101: Debra Southard Hello, Welcome to THRIVE. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Central Missouri in 2003. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from UCM. I have lived in Warrensburg for over 40 years. I have taught Family and Consumer Science for 25 years. This is my third year with the THRIVE program. I teach primarily first year THRIVE students. I am the administrator of PLATO, an online classroom program that all students will work on.
